Château de la Thomasserie

A U-shaped hunting lodge with facades looking onto a courtyard and onto the grounds, surrounded by a moat. The current layout of the property is organised around two courtyards. The central building has a large entrance hall opening out on each side through large doorways. The side pieces, following one another, are composed of several salons, library, and a dining room which retains a set of wood panelling and cupboards including panelling probably from the very beggining of the 18th century. At both end side of the main building, commons building were transformed to increase the number of living rooms. In the 1920’s, the west wing was rearranged, adding a level. Everything was extended by an orangery.
